Thanks for applying to join our team!
We are looking for three volunteers who will work closely together, along with the rest of our small team. You'll work from your own home, and mostly communicate with our foster network by email, messenger and Facebook, although there may be times when you'll need to speak to fosterers by phone. These roles won't take up a lot of time, however you will need to be available when emergency situations crop up and homes need to be found quickly.
Our first role is our Foster Coordinator, which mainly involves checking in with our fosterers when new puppies come in to arrange a placement, or if puppies need to be moved from one foster home to another. You'll maintain a database of fosterers, and manage an email inbox to respond to requests to take on new puppies from members of the public needing help.
Our second role is our Foster Support Officer, which mainly involves supporting fosterers, ensuring socialisation is being done safely, and helping to arrange supplies as needed. You'll also help maintain the foster database and emails.
Another role is our Fundraiser coordinator - organising raffles, thinking of creative ways to raise funds to support our puppies including events etc.
We're looking for people with great written communication skills, who are proactive and able to work with a sense of urgency, and are able to adapt easily and work quickly when situations arise. We are looking for people who are able to work independently and as a team, and act as back up for each other when needed (such as when one person is away on holiday etc).
If this sounds like you, please complete the form below, and we'll be in touch once we've received your application.
